RCPsych awards - winners revealed

We announced the winners of this year’s Royal College of Psychiatrists Awards on Thursday 7 November and presented each with a trophy.

Some 300 guests working in psychiatry and mental health attended the ceremony - now in its tenth year - at our home in Prescot Street, in the shadow of the Tower of London. Judges were hugely impressed by this year’s quality of entries received for each category of the award.

BAFTA Award winning journalist and broadcaster, Victoria Derbyshire, hosted the awards and received a President Medal at the start of the ceremony. 

Professor Wendy Burn, President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists congratulated the shortlisted individuals and teams before the proceedings began.

Professor Sir Simon Wessely, former President of the College, presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Dame Fiona Caldicott.
To end proceedings, Professor Wendy Burn, President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists took part in an engaging Q and A with Dame Fiona.
