In December, voting will open for members to select our next Dean and Treasurer, to replace Dr Kate Lovett and Dr Jan Falkowski respectively.
The winning candidates will be part of our four strong Honorary Officer team along with President Dr Adrian James and Registrar Dr Trudi Seneviratne.
We have four candidates standing for Dean: Professor Nandini Chakraborty, Professor Subodh Dave, Dr Chris O’Loughlin and Dr John Russell.
And we have three candidates standing for Treasurer: Dr Lenny Cornwall, Professor John Crichton and Dr Anand Ramakrishnan.
The ballot will run between 16 December-13 January, with the winners being announced on 14 January.
You can learn more about the candidates and their visions for the College here:
Both Honorary Officer roles are crucial to the effective functioning of the College, with the Dean role overseeing our approach to training, education, recruitment and retention; and our Treasurer role overseeing our strategy for the way we invest our money and remain financially sustainable.
You can also hear from the candidates and watch them answer questions from members at our virtual hustings events in December. The hustings will be chaired by our President Dr Adrian James and be free for all members to attend. If you’d like to watch the hustings events, please book your place:
