period of mental ill-health can be difficult. However, there
is a wealth of information available to help make this easier.

This section of the website was developed with the help of a
steering group of experts, including psychiatrists and other health
professionals, service users, and their carers, as well as people
who work with employer organisations, including small businesses to
large national companies.
It has been tested by members of the College’s Service User
Recovery and Carer’s Forums, people working in or with employer
organisations, as well as experts in occupational health.
The resources have been chosen because of their usefulness and
accessibility, rather than as a result of systematic
