With just over one week to go, what are you waiting for? Display your poster at the 2023 RCPsych International Congress

Abstract submissions are now open for this year’s International Congress, taking place in person at the ACC Liverpool between 10 – 13 July 2023. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to display their poster at Congress in our ePoster Hub, or even present their work in-person, in one of the rapid-fire poster sessions.
In 2022 we received a total of 592 abstracts. 518 of these abstracts were accepted for poster display, with the top 35 also being put forward for rapid-fire presentation.
Why submit?
- Get published! All successful abstracts who register to present their poster will be published in a special supplement of the BJPsych Open.
- Quick-fire oral presentation slots - top scoring posters will have the opportunity to speak about their poster and take questions from a live audience.

The deadline for submissions is 23.59, Friday 3 February 2023. We won’t be able to accept any abstracts submitted after this date.
Top tips!
- Make sure you have read the full guidance before submitting your abstract.
- Submit all abstracts via our online portal (Oxford Abstracts). We will not accept proposals via email.
- Take care to complete the online submission form as fully and as accurately as possible. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
- You can edit and amend your submission up until the deadline.
- Please ensure you identify who the presenting author is.
- There is no limit to the amount of abstracts you submit. Simply login to the portal with the username and password you have created and add a new abstract.
- Some International, Divisions and Devolved Nations have a limited number of bursaries available for medical students, foundation doctors and trainees based in their region.
- Only the presenting author can apply for a bursary as part of their submission, and the bursary is non-transferable.
- Please note, if you have received and accepted a bursary in the past 3 years, you will not be considered for the 2023 bursaries.
