The Power of Goal Setting
04 March, 2020
Having a Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timed (SMART) goal is a powerful tool for change. Helping your mentee to articulate their goal helps them to see past immediate problems especially if you ask them to align their goal with their own values and needs.
- A goal gives a direction and an anchor.
- Writing a goal down and sharing it with another will make it more likely that they will achieve it.
- As a Mentor you will help the mentee to articulate their goal, break it down into steps and keep the mentee accountable to it.
