Last night our three Presidential candidates took part in the College’s first ever hustings event at our London office.
After making opening speeches, Professor Kam Bhui, Dr Adrian James and Professor Pamela Taylor answered questions from the audience as well as some submitted in advance by members not able to attend.
Topics included public engagement, the cost of exams and the regional spread of College activities, among other things.
The evening – chaired by our current President, Professor Wendy Burn – ended with the candidates making concluding speeches.
For those who were not able to attend, you can watch a full, unedited video of the hustings.
About the elections
The hustings is the latest stage in the candidates’ election campaigns. In November we will be running an online Q and A in which you can find out more about the candidates’ views and priorities.
Each candidate’s personal video and supporting statement is available on our website – meet the candidates.
