Dr Rosemary Gordon is the current secretary of the Psychiatric training committee (PTC). The PTC is a committee of trainee representatives from across the UK and is elected by local trainees in each division. She has been a member of the PTC since 2018, elected as co-secretary in September 2019 and is continuing in this role for the 2020/2021 academic year.

Dr Gordon graduated from Edinburgh University in 2012 undertaking her foundation training in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Following this, she completed her GP training in South East Scotland achieving her MRCGP in 2017 and then worked as a GP locum while also doing a staff grade post in psychiatry.
