The Royal College of Psychiatrists Improving the lives of people with mental illness

New magazine - what do you think?

We’re asking for feedback about our new Members magazine.

RCPsych Insight dropped on UK Members’ doormats for the first time during the last week of June.

It seems to have been well received if comments on social media are anything to go by but we’d love to hear what you think about it.

To make it as easy as possible for you to let us know your thoughts we’ve started a Letters to the editor column, which you can use to tell us what you think of the magazine’s content, design, or let us know what subjects you’d like us to cover.

How to submit a Letter to the editor

In case you haven’t heard

Our new magazine RCPsych Insight is packed with news and opinion from psychiatrists across the UK.

The magazine will be posted to UK Members on a quarterly basis, while those outside the UK will be able to read it online as we’ll post each issue promptly on our website.

Among the highlights in the first issue, find out about Professor Sir Simon Wessely’s thoughts about stepping down after three years at the helm and hear from Professor Wendy Burn on her priorities going forward. In addition find out about those working in Neuroscience, Perinatal and how to combine Psychiatry with an award winning screenwriting career.

Overall we want it to be a celebration of what is best in psychiatry, and there are features that provide a fascinating window on the working lives of a diverse range of psychiatrists.
