Sharing Best Practice
NHS England have recently launched a website of recommended
eHealth resources, including apps and websites. Some of
these are free to use, and the mental health "calm app" and "catch
it" brief CBT app, are very user-friendly.
Psychology colleagues have also launched a CBT app called
Collaborate, which is free to download and use (android
only). It can be found on google play by searching “NHSCT”
(you enter your own pin at the beginning, for privacy).
We are always pleased to receive feedback. We would be
particularly interested to hear what topics and speakers you might
wish to have included in our CPD programmes – email us quoting “Topics and
Speakers” in the subject field.
Dr John Sharkey, Regional Representative, Psychiatrists in
Private Practice Special Interest Group, would be grateful to hear
from Psychiatrists interested in this area; email Dr Sharkey
