Buddy Schemes
Recently established at Birmingham and Warwick medical schools, the Buddy Scheme partners up medical students interested in mental health with a junior doctor working in psychiatry. The doctor acts as a mentor to the student, supporting them with their studies, offering them more experience of clinical work (even on-calls!) and signposting them to other interesting opportunities such as conferences and research.
