Peer group members need to be psychiatrists of
any grade. If your peer group members are not members of the

with their name, GMC number and email address and we will add their
details to your record.
Do I need to provide evidence for my all my CPD activities
before you will issue a certificate?
We’ll automatically issue a certificate when
you submit your activity if the minimum requirements have been

at least 30 hours in the clinical domain, authorised and approved

My submission has been selected for audit. What do I need

How do I choose the date of my CPD cycle?
You will select your date when you first log
onto CPD Submissions in the members area.
You will be responsible for selecting an
appropriate date and you may want to take into consideration the
date of your appraisal and the CPD cycles of your peer group
Once you have selected a start date, to
maintain continuous CPD with the College we would advise that your
cycle dates remain the same.
Can I get an event I am organising accredited by you?
We do not accredit educational events. CPD
activities are approved by peer group members and are guided by the
CPD Submissions guidance.
I work part time. Are the requirements of the programme
The CPD Submission requirements are the same
whether you are working full time or part time.
I am working overseas and registered with another CPD programme
– do you have a reciprocal arrangement with this programme?
If you’re registered with the Royal Australian
and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists then you’re eligible for a
certificate under our reciprocal scheme.
