The Royal College of Psychiatrists Improving the lives of people with mental illness

Where There Is No PsychiatristWhat can your donation fund?

"Where There Is No Psychiatrist" is a manual for areas where people don't have ready access to mental health care.

We're raising money to try to make the second edition of this valuable resource available as free-to-view.

Where there is no Psychiatrist” is not designed as a substitute for excellent face-to-face clinical support, but in so many countries, this is simply not available. A publication which can be easily accessed and shared by many enables health care professionals and community workers to care for their mentally ill patients. Without this knowledge, the gap would be even more critical.

Please donate and help us improve access to mental health care for people in areas with poor health provision. You can make a difference!
