Mental health factsheets for schools/young people

About our mental health packs

These packs contain factsheets on different topics relating to mental health and wellbeing. Some of these factsheets look at diagnosable mental health conditions, while others look at some of the more everyday challenges that children and young people have to deal with.

These factsheets are written by psychiatrists and are based on up-to-date evidence. We hope these packs can be used by school staff when a child or young person is experiencing a challenge and might need more support or information.

Our factsheets cover the following areas:

  • An explanation of the topic, problem, condition or treatment
  • How to help yourself
  • How to reach out for further support
  • Case studies
  • Other sources of information or organisations that might be able to offer support
