A huge amount of work is going on in terms of education and training, and this update includes information about the new CASC syllabus, the successful Trainees Conference in Wales, and more.

After an extensive review, the College has launched a new syllabus for the CASC, which will apply to exams from September 2023 onwards.
Read our guidance published earlier this year on the recognition and approval of trainers, aimed at increasing trainer capacity.
Progress is being made towards ensuring the Certificate of Eligilibility for Specialist Registration reaches the new standard.
The Psychiatric Trainees Committee (PTC) held a very successful annual conference at Techniquest in Wales earlier this spring.
