Innovation in the South West Division

E-volution forum, Innovation in the South West Division

E-volution

'The programme of change of inherited innovation ideas, across different catchments via peer selection, leading to consistency at different levels within a definable framework.'

We are pleased to announce the launch of E-volution; the RCPsych South West Division initiative to share local innovations in psychiatry.  E-volution is an online forum that is open to all RCPsych members and affiliates.

Do you have an Innovation?

If you have an innovation that you have tested and you would like to share with other psychiatrists in the region, you can submit a proposal of 200 words to the forum moderators, Dr Rohit Shankar, Dr Jason Hancock and Dr Liz Ewins.  Your proposal should outline the project including how it was delivered and the resulting changes.  Your idea could be about any aspect of clinical or non-clinical practice, or could be a quality improvement project.

Your submission will be peer reviewed for:

  1. Quality
  2. Innovation
  3. Reproducibility

If your abstract is suitable, it would be made available on the web forum for other psychiatrists to leave feedback and adopt in their areas and will be published in the South West Division eNewsletter.  If your idea is 'evolved' or adopted in another area, both adoptee and the proposer will receive certificates of successful implementation of innovation at a South West Division Biannual Meeting.

Looking for innovative ideas?

Take a look at the forum now to see what psychiatrists are doing across the South West and find an idea to adopt in your area.
