A two-day course for eligible CAMHS professionals who require approval to practice as Approved Clinicians. This course is suitable for all those who are eligible to become Approved Clinicians: mental health and learning disability nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, registered medical practitioners and social workers. To attend this course you must have met, or be working towards the competencies required of an Approved Clinician (National Health Service Act 2006, Mental Health Act 1983 Approved Clinician (General) Directions 2008). This course is designed specifically for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Professionals, and delivered by expert trainers in this field.
