Applying to Core and Higher Training
Thank you for joining us to learn more about applying to core and higher psychiatry training.
Each year, we host webinars for anyone considering applying for core or higher training in the near future. These webinars cover how to apply, what factors to consider when applying, reflection on the application process, and are an opportunity to hear from trainees about their experiences of applying to and starting psychiatry training. These webinars are also useful to those trainers wishing to support their trainees in this process.
Applying to CT1
We heard from a range of speakers including a representative from the recruitment office who spoke about the application process, a CT1 trainee who shared their experience and also the Vice Chair of the Psychiatric Trainees Committee. There was also an opportunity to ask the panel questions.
You can read back on the questions and answers that were discussed during this webinar by looking at the Applying To CT1 - QA Report
Entering Higher Training
