Opportunities for foundation doctors
RCPsych Foundation Doctor Congress Bursary now open!
The College has launched a new bursary for Foundation Doctors to attend RCPsych International Congress. Applications are now open and will close Monday 20 April 2026 at midday.
The bursary includes free registration to one day of Congress, and up to £350 towards travel and accommodation.
This year’s Congress will be held in Liverpool from 15 to 18 June. Successful applicants will be invited to attend on Tuesday 16 June. You will be invited to a networking breakfast on that day and able to access the full day's programme.
Please note, if you are selected for the bursary you will need to agree study leave in line with your local processes. If you are unable to attend on the selected date, the bursary cannot be transferred to another date or event. Please inform us immediately if this is the case so that we can try to reallocate your place.
Eligibility
To apply you must:
- Be enrolled in a current UK Foundation Programme at date of Congress
- Be a current Foundation Doctor Associate member of the College (sign up for Foundation Doctor Associate membership here - it's free!)
- Not hold a previous RCPsych bursary or fellowship (e.g. Psych Star, PFF, Aggrey Burke Fellow
