Women's Mental Health

A resource hub to support women's mental health care

Despite clear evidence that women experience distinct patterns of mental illness, shaped by a combination of biological, social and structural factors, and evident in differences in prevalence, risk factors and disease burden (Morris, S. et al., 2025) - services are not yet consistently responding to these needs.

We've developed Women's Mental Health Matters - a strategy to take us beyond recognising the problem.

The strategy sets out a clear and practical path forward, to deliver sustained implementation, accountability and system-wide change.

In this Women's Mental Health hub you can also access related resources and materials. We hope in producing this hub we can help to drive crucially needed change in this vital area of care.
