Accreditation Programme for Psychological Therapies Services

The Accreditation Programme for Psychological Therapies Services (APPTS) is an accreditation programme that works with psychological therapies services in the UK to assure and improve their quality. APPTS is a joint venture between the Royal College of Psychiatrists and The British Psychological Society.

The APPTS programme aims to improve the experience for service users, staff and service planning through a collaborative process of self review, peer review and accreditation.

We believe in celebrating the achievements of therapy services, encouraging the sharing of ideas and expertise. Equally, we support services in identifying areas for improvement and facilitating change.
