Events

We run an annual conference about psychological therapy services each year in November. We also hold two peer reviewer training days for APPTS members per year.

The 10th Annual Forum for Psychological Therapies Services will be taking place in 2024 and further details on this event will be shared soon.

Our Annual Forum is a great opportunity to bring psychological therapies services together for a day of sharing ideas, learning and good practice. There will also be an update on our findings from the peer reviews of psychological therapies services that have taken place recently on APPTS.

If you would like to contribute to the next APPTS Annual Forum, please get in touch with us at APPTS@rcpsych.ac.uk.

Description

This training session will qualify you to become professional APPTS peer reviewers and visit other therapy services across the UK.

It will prepare you for the role of peer-reviewer, and build skills in group facilitation and delivery. APPTS peer reviewer training is free for staff working in a member service.

Once qualified, attending reviews is a great membership benefit for staff and managers, as you will:

  • gain useful experience and knowledge of how therapy services are managed and run
  • network with other services and share good practice
  • develop deeper insight into how services are experienced by staff and service users.

Training dates

  • 25th June 2024 (11:30 - 1pm)
  • 11th September 2024 (10:30 - 12pm)

You can book your place onto either of the training sessions using this booking form.

The Accreditation Programme for Psychological Therapies Services (APPTS) will host its next Special Interest Day on the theme of Trauma-Informed Care. The event will take place on 10 May 2024 (10am - 4pm).

If you would like to attend, please complete this online booking form.
