We run an annual conference about psychological therapy services each year in November. We also hold two peer reviewer training days for APPTS members per year.

Our first ever Special Interest Day will be taking place on Wednesday 11 May 2022 (10am - 4pm, exact timings TBC), on Zoom.

The day will have a range of presentations focusing on barriers to access, including cultural barriers, overcoming these barriers from a service perspective, service user/ carer perspectives and more.

Cost: FREE for APPTS members, £55 for non-members.

We are pleased to be able to share the draft programme.

If you would like to attend, please complete this booking form.

This training session will qualify you to become professional APPTS peer reviewers and visit other therapy services across the UK.

It will prepare you for the role of peer reviewer, and build skills in group facilitation and delivery.

Once qualified, attending reviews is a great membership benefit for staff and managers, as you will:

  • gain useful experience and knowledge of how therapy services are managed and run
  • network with other services and share good practice
  • develop deeper insight into how services are experienced by staff and service users.

Training dates

To be confirmed.

The eighth Psychological Therapies Annual Forum will take place in November 2022.
