 The Science of the Art of Psychopharmacology: Practical psychodynamics in pharmacotherapy.

The seminar day will focus on the “how”, not “what” to prescribe, and contribute to placing psychodynamic prescribing on the agenda of psychiatrists 

Objectives: 

  1. To describe the psychosocial factors in prescribing
  2. To provide the evidence base for relational prescribing
  3. To describe a framework for managing the psychodynamics of prescribing
  4. To describe specific techniques in relational prescribing
