Event Information

The RCPsych Trent Division welcome Dr Beena Rajkumar to deliver a 1.5 hour webinar on Trauma, Dissociation and Dissociative Identity Disorder. The webinar format will allow for a 1 hour presentation on this topic followed by a 30 minute Q&A session with delegates. The key learning outcomes from this presentation are:

  1. Understanding the impact of trauma on one’s sense of self.
  2. Understanding the different forms of dissociation (biological and psychological).

  3. Ways in which they can be managed.

This event will be recorded and available to watch on demand for 2 months from the date of the event.

Dr Beena Rajkumar is dual qualified and works as a Consultant Psychiatrist and Medical Psychotherapist for the NHS. She has a special interest in working psychotherapeutically with people who have experienced Complex Trauma.  She is also passionate about teaching Psychiatry and Psychotherapy and fostering experiential learning. She is also the Director of Medical Education for LPFT NHS Trust.

This event will be recorded to allow delegates to watch on-demand at a time that may be more convenient to them. The event recording will be distributed via email with a specific link and passcode to all registered delegates.

The recording will be emailed out within one week of the event. Please do not schedule CPD time expecting to receive the recording link the same day as the live event.

We would encourage those who register to attend on the day of the event, should they wish to ask questions to our speakers.

All recordings are sent out to delegates via the email address used at the time of registering. If you are unsure whether your email address is up to date, please update this via your membership account. We will not confirm this with you and it is your responsibility to make sure it is correct.
