Background
Health of the Nation Outcome Scales for Children and Adolescents
was developed for children and adolescents (under the age of 18) in
contact with mental health services. The use of HoNOSCA has been
fully supported by the Department of Health and was employed in the
Audit Commission survey of child and adolescent mental health
services in 1998.
