Dr Abrar Ammar

I applied to join the PRDC to strengthen the resident doctor voice and turn concerns into meaningful action. I want every resident doctor to feel heard and supported. I'm keen to work on resident doctor wellbeing, fair training opportunities and improved working conditions.

My interests are liaison psychiatry, neurodevelopmental psychiatry and psychotherapy. I hope to combine clinical work with leadership, education and advocacy.

Outside work, I enjoy literature, writing, wellbeing, hiking and cooking. I love exploring new places and finding time for creativity and reflection.
