Phil Burke

Phil is currently heading up our Information Systems department as Director. After studying BioPhysics at Kings College London, Phil swapped the lab coat for a rucksack and spent some time travelling and working in the travel industry before joining British Airways to manage their Tour Operator systems.

This led to a career in Travel IT systems, culminating with running a large team responsible for the IT Services of the UK’s second largest Tour Operator, before leaving to become an independent consultant as well as a director of the SAS Business Group; a successful IT Network and Services supplier working with several of the UK’s best known businesses.

With the demands of the consultancy business growing, Phil resigned his position at SAS to concentrate on his own clients, providing interim management and leading projects for a range of businesses, from startups to members of the FTSE100. Phil’s membership of CITA, the Charity IT Association, has been important to him during this time, allowing him to provide the same services free of charge to charities that would otherwise struggle to support their IT requirements.
