Specialty Trainees' Welcome Event

Event Information

We would like to welcome new Specialty Trainees to the College by hosting the Specialty Trainees' Welcome Event.

With the aim to help Speciality Trainees with their transition to the next stage of training, this event provides an overview of the role of the College, the future of training and a chance for new Specialty Trainees to hear from College officers and members and ask questions. 

This event is aimed at ST4s but other trainees who may find the updates regarding the curricula and the wider future of psychiatry training helpful. Core trainees' in their last year are also welcome to attend for a wider view of specialty training.

The event is taking place online via Zoom. To take part you will need:  

  • access to a reliable internet connection  
  • a PC, laptop, tablet or phone  
  • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser or Zoom installed on your PC, laptop, tablet or phone  

  • You do not need to have a Zoom account to attend.  

Some users may experience difficulty joining Zoom meetings due to security settings. If this is the case, we suggest you select the option to join via a web browser, rather than the Zoom app. If you cannot join on your computer you can still join on your phone.  Please take a look at this guide on how to join a Zoom meeting.   

It is your responsibility to ensure you have read and understood the guidelines before the event.
