Talk 1. Mastering connections: The psychiatrist’s guide to professional bonds - Dr Chetna Kang

Focus areas:

This session will explore how to build and manage strong professional relationships in psychiatry. Learn practical strategies for influencing others, mentoring, resolving conflicts, fostering teamwork, and providing inspirational leadership. We'll also cover how to maintain emotional self-control, adaptability, and a positive outlook in your professional life.

Talk 2. Enhancing empathy: Navigating communication and social insight - Dr Billy Boland

Improve your communication skills and social awareness in this session. We'll discuss the importance of empathy and understanding organisational dynamics, helping you connect better with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. The role of emotional self-awareness in effective communication will also be explored.

Talk 3. Leading through complexity: Confidence in uncertain times - Dr Rais Ahmed

Learn how to lead confidently in complex and uncertain situations. This session will focus on fostering teamwork and providing inspirational leadership in challenging environments. We'll emphasise the importance of achievement orientation and adaptability, along with the role of emotional self-awareness in effective leadership.
