Speakers
Dr Daniel Dalton, Consultant Psychiatrist and Locality Medical Director, NSFT
Dr Dalton is a consultant forensic psychiatrist. He has worked in medical leadership positions since 2010, including as Clinical Director, Chief Medical Officer and Locality Medical Director in NHS trusts. He has worked as National Specialty Adviser to NSHE England’s Specialised Commissioning team. He is the Regional Adviser to the RCPsych Eastern Division.
Dr Rana Moharam, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr Moharam is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist with experience in the field since 2011. She completed her MBBCh at Cairo University in Egypt, where she practiced psychiatry in different specialties for four years. She also worked for a couple of years with refugees with a mental health organisation that was in partnership with the UNHCR in Egypt.
She started practicing in the UK from 2016. She completed her MRCPsych in 2016 and started higher training in child and adolescent psychiatry. She became an NHS Consultant in child and adolescent psychiatry from 2020 until 2025. She is now working as a private and independent consultant psychiatrist.
Mr Paul Scott, Chief Executive, EPUT
Paul has extensive experience at board level and across the NHS. Prior to taking up his role as Chief Executive of EPUT in 2020, Paul was Executive Director of Finance, Strategy and Performance at Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust, where his remit included leading on long term partnerships as well as information and IT, before taking up his post at CUHFT as CFO, where he also had leadership responsibility for system development and integration.
He previously held senior roles in the East of England Ambulance Service and at Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust. Paul lives in Essex. Paul is motivated by improving the way our health and care services work in partnership to deliver improvements to the services we provide.
Mock interviews
For the third year running, we are delighted to offer a limited number of mock interviews to event attendees as an opportunity to practice. These will last 15 minutes total, taking place after the above programme.
Please kindly note, you must register and attend the masterclass in order to receive a mock interview slot. These will be based on a first come, first served basis, after which we will use a waiting list.
