CYPMH and depression, challenges and solutions
The crisis in child and adolescent mental health; challenges in the treatment of adolescent depression; potential solutions with a focus on brief interventions.
Learning objectives:
- Understand the drivers of poor mental health in CYP
- Understand the challenges in service delivery
- Understand the role of brief interventions as a first-line treatment
Speaker
We will be joined by Professor Bernadka Dubicka.
Prof Dubicka is currently the chief investigator of the NIHR multi-site BAY trial of web-based Behavioural Activation in young people with depression. Previously, she was the chair of the RCPsych Child and Adolescent faculty.
Currently co-leading on an update of our RCPsych position statement on online safety.
