Event Information

The deadline for early-bird discounted fees applied to bookings made on or before Wednesday 25 March. The standard rate now applies.

The Medical Student/Foundation Doctor Associate rates are kept at a low price, and are heavily subsidised rate and subject to limited availability.

The registration fees for in-person delegates include refreshments and lunch. Accommodation and/or travel costs are not included in the booking fees.

Event registrations are confirmed when payment is received in full.

An automated receipt will be emailed within 48 hours of booking.

Joining instructions are sent approximately one week in advance.

This year's conference dinner will take place at Mharsanta – Scottish Restaurant & Bar. The dinner will start at 7.30pm on Thursday 7 May, after the Civic Reception, and your ticket includes a three‑course meal, one drink and service charge.

Glasgow has a range of accommodation options. We have negotiated discounted rates for event delegates at various hotels.

  • Getting to Glasgow - how to travel to the city by train, sea, road and air:
    • Glasgow is well connected by train from across the UK by 2 main stations: Glasgow Central Station links Glasgow to the south. Glasgow Queen Street Station operates routes mainly to Edinburgh and the north. Avanti West Coast runs several daily services to London with a journey time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The Caledonian Sleeper connects London to Glasgow with overnight services. Eurostar international high-speed railway service connects European mainland destinations to Glasgow via London (St Pancras station).
    • Glasgow is served by 3 international airports, with connections across the UK and the world: Glasgow Airport is only 15 minutes from the city centre with  an express bus service from outside the terminal. Glasgow Prestwick Airport is very accessible with a 45-minute train or bus ride to the city centre. Edinburgh Airport has a direct bus service from the airport to Glasgow’s Buchanan Bus Station which takes under an hour.
