Volunteering and International Psychiatry SIG Webinar | Sustaining the Volunteer: Wellbeing, Resilience and Purpose

Event Information

In this session, we will aim to cover perspectives on workplace stress and burnout from the point of view of an experienced volunteer in conflict settings from Dr Mustafa Alachkar. Dr Alachkar will present his experiences of working in an intensely demanding environment and offer his thoughtful perspective on this work.

To support this, Dr Richard Duggins will aim to bring some practical, evidence-informed ideas around sustaining yourself in challenging environments, recognising early warning signs, and building supportive team and organisational practices that make a difference.

This event will be recorded and available to all registered delegates to watch on demand. The recording will be available within one week of the live event taking place and will be emailed out to all registered delegates. The recording will be available to watch for three months after the event takes place.

We ask that all delegates ensure that their email address associated with their membership account is correct and up to date, as this is where all correspondence will be sent.

Please note that this webinar recording will not be available to purchase post-event.

Please read our terms and conditions before making your booking.
