Programme and overview
We look forward to having you join us for the RCPsych in Scotland Forensic Faculty Conference taking place at the Apex Grassmarket Hotel in Edinburgh this year. The programme offers a full day of engaging sessions, including talks on the mental health needs of asylum seekers in custody, medico-legal reporting and case law, ideologically motivated violence, the future of PREVENT services in Scotland, career reflections in forensic psychiatry, and a panel debate: "Treated and returned. Does recovery from major mental illness mean the end of hospital treatment for transferred life‑sentenced prisoners?" The day will conclude with an informal drinks reception, followed by an optional dinner for those who wish to continue networking.
Please note the conference takes place in-person only, and is not being recorded or livestreamed in any capacity.
