The West Midlands and Trent Divisions run and annual poster competition the Midlands Winter Conference.
The entry categories are:
- Student Associate and Foundation Doctor
- Resident Doctor in Core Training
- Resident Doctor in Higher Training and SAS Doctors.
Prizes are allocated to the best poster presentation in one of the following topics:
- Quality Improvement
- Audit
- Research.

Deadline for entries: 25 October 2026
Joining instructions are sent approximately one week in advance.
