QNIC news and events
The QNIC Annual Forum took place on Monday 8 June 2026.
This in-person event was be held at the College and will provide an opportunity for those working within CAMHS to network with one another.
The theme of this year’s annual forum was 'Trauma Informed Practice in Children and Young People's Mental Health Services'.
CAMHS Accreditation Training is aimed at clinicians and patient/carer representatives who want to understand more about the process, and is compulsory to attend for those who wish to participate in accreditation reviews in the future. You are not required to attend this training for focused or comprehensive peer-review visits.
This is the perfect opportunity if you plan to or have already signed up or for an accreditation visit as a reviewer or patient/carer representative this cycle and have not attended the training previously, or indeed if you have already completed the training and wish to refresh your knowledge of the process ahead of your next accreditation review.
The QNIC team regularly hold these training sessions via Zoom. For details on how to register, please contact the team at qnic@rcpsych.ac.uk.
The QNIC Community Special Interest Day will be taking place online via Zoom on Friday 13 November 2026.
The theme for this year's event will focus on Improving Access and Reducing Barriers in CAMHS.
Registration is not yet open, but it will be available soon. We look forward to sharing an exciting programme featuring inspiring speakers, practical learning, and opportunities for networking and discussion. More information will be announced shortly.
