QNPICU Green Month
As a Network, we are passionate about sustainable healthcare and supporting our member services to improve the sustainability of the care they provide. Each week in October we will be releasing different tips and ideas on how you encourage environmentally sustainable practices within PICU settings.
On 01 October this launched with ‘Sustainability Principles Explained’, giving a breakdown of the 5 sustainability principles, examples of standards involved, and how to meet them.
Each Friday we will be sending out more correspondence. If you would like receive the emails, please contact PICU@rcpsych.ac.uk and request to join.
We are doing this in celebration of the RCPsych’s recent position statement on ‘Our planet’s climate and ecological emergency’.
The College also has a lot of great resources and top tips available to mental healthcare professionals.
