It has 21,000 members and engages with government and the media as the leading voice of the UK’s mental health services. The College is an award-winning, values-based organisation.
Overview of the role
The WISE Quality Mark Assessor supports the Wellbeing Initiatives and Services for Employees Quality Mark (WISE-QM), a joint initiative between the Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM) and the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Centre for Quality Improvement (CCQI). The role involves independently assessing applications from workplace wellbeing service providers against the WISE-QM standards, which promote consistent, evidence-based approaches to workplace wellbeing.
Assessors review self-assessments, supporting evidence and stakeholder feedback submitted by providers, evaluating whether services meet the required quality standards. Working within the WISE-QM assessment framework, they produce assessment findings and make recommendations on award status, helping to ensure that the WISE-QM remains a trusted benchmark for high-quality, evidence-informed workplace wellbeing services.

- To adhere to the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Code of Conduct and maintain professional standards at all times.
