Our response to Dr Bawa-Garba's appeal win against the GMC:
Professor Wendy Burn, President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists said: "Today we heard that Dr Bawa-Garba has won her appeal and will be restored to the Medical Register.
"The case came about as a result of the death of a child. This is immeasurably sad and our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
"We hope that the result will be that the NHS will become a place where staff and organisations are able to reflect on their errors and learn from their mistakes. This will make it a safer place for us all."
