Three RCPsych resources have been honoured in this year’s BMA Patient Information Awards.

Our resources on children's social services and safeguarding and perinatal OCD were ‘Highly Commended’ and our resource on postpartum psychosis for carers was ‘Commended’.

These resources – which encompass online and offline materials – are accessible via the RCPsych website’s ‘Mental health’ section and are part of a wider series designed to support patients, families and wider stakeholders around key mental health issues.

The RCPsych’s mental health resources are the only resources available in the UK which are written by psychiatrists and developed in consultation with patients and carers.

BMA president, Professor Raanan Gillon, presented the awards at a reception at BMA House on Tuesday 10 September.
