In 2020 POMH conducted a service evaluation outside of their planned QI programme in response to a (now rescinded) Supply Disruption Alert (SDA) on the discontinuation of the Priadel brand of lithium.
POMH invited mental health services that had acted on this alert to submit data relating to their early experiences of switching lithium formulations.
Following a summary of findings released to participating services in 2021, POMH are now able to confirm the publication of a paper presenting the full results from this service evaluation in the BJPsych Bulletin: Plus ça change? Switching lithium preparations, David A. Cousins et al.
