National Resident Doctors Conference 2025
The National Resident Doctors’ Conference is one of the highlights of our College calendar, and we’re delighted to see it return to Birmingham this year.
This event represents far more than just a gathering – it’s a space where the next generation of psychiatrists come together to reflect, learn, and grow.
Our resident doctors continue to inspire us with their commitment, curiosity and compassion, and this conference is an opportunity to recognise that, while supporting their ongoing development.
This year’s programme, 'Empowering Minds, Transforming Lives', offers a rich and varied mix of keynote speakers, clinical workshops, research presentations and interactive sessions tailored to the unique challenges and interests of psychiatry resident doctors.
Delegates will hear from leaders in the field, engage with cutting-edge topics in mental health, and take part in practical sessions designed to strengthen both clinical and leadership skills.
Importantly, the conference also creates time for connection – with peers, mentors, and the wider psychiatric community. It is these connections that often leave the most lasting impression and help shape careers in meaningful ways.
Each year the College encourages as many resident doctors as possible to attend, contribute, and take this opportunity to be both inspired and inspiring. Together, we shape the future of psychiatry.
