Physician Assistants guidance
The College Dean, Professor Subodh Dave, has welcomes the report approved by the College’s Council earlier this month relating to Physician Assistants.
Subodh said:
“I’m pleased that the final report and recommendations of the RCPsych Physician Assistants Task and Finish Group was approved by the RCPsych Council on Friday 4 July 2025 and has now been published.
“It provides clear direction for employers of PAs working in psychiatry and wider mental health services.
“The Task and Finish Group brought together a wide range of voices, including representatives from the Psychiatric Resident Doctors' Committee, SAS doctors, a patient representative, RCPsych Council, and a Physician Assistant working in mental health.”
