Portfolio Pathway update

We have had a record number of doctors added to the Specialist Register over the past year.

This is both for Portfolio Pathway applications, formerly known as CESR (28 doctors) and Certificate of Completion of Training/CCT (440 doctors).

Our Portfolio Pathway Evaluators make a marked difference to the workforce across the four nations.

In 2025, we undertook over 40 evaluations, supporting those with applications that aren’t granted first time with clear recommendation for a subsequent review.

The role of Portfolio Pathway Evaluator is a voluntary position, but one that makes a huge difference.
