Thrive in Psychiatry: National Resident Doctors' Conference 2026
Our Psychiatric Resident Doctors’ Committee (PRDC) are organising another fantastic National Resident Doctors’ Conference.
This year’s theme is ‘Thrive in Psychiatry’ and the conference will take place on Thursday 30 April and Friday 1 May in Newcastle.
There is a jam packed programme featuring a range of keynotes, fringe events and a social for Resident Doctors. Keynote and breakout session topics will include:
- women in psychiatry
- neurodiversity
- women's mental pealth and perinatal psychiatry
- tribunal, complaints, investigation
- addiction psychiatry
- psychotherapy/formulation
- volunteering and international psychiatry (hosted by VIPSIG)
- data science, AI and informatics
- research
- leadership.
