How you can get involved

There are lots of ways in which you can get involved and support the Psychiatric Resident Doctors Committee (PRDC) and your fellow resident doctors.

Become a member of the PRDC

Becoming a member will give you opportunities to:

  • network
  • play a part in initiatives to raise the standard of training
  • represent resident doctors on other College committees
  • support resident doctors across the UK.

Current vacancies

We are currently recruiting for vacancies in the following committee roles:

From September 2026 to September 2028:

  • Scotland (Dundee & Aberdeen), Member
  • Scotland (Edinburgh), Member
  • Scotland (Glasgow), Member
  • Trent, Member
  • Examinations Representative
  • International Medical Graduate (IMG) Representative

From September 2026 to September 2027:

  • Northern Ireland, PMPT or Member
