Dr Hayley Boyom

I applied for a position on the PRDC because I am passionate about improving the training experience of resident doctors within psychiatry. I aim to represent my peers and ensure that our views are heard and listened to. I am particularly interested in wellbeing, provision of meaningful training and educational activities, and ensuring recruitment processes align with the principles of psychiatric practice.

I continue to enjoy the opportunity to explore and gain experience in different subspecialty areas in core training. Currently, I have interests in child and adolescent psychiatry, intellectual disabilities, and medical psychotherapy. Outside of work, I am interested in music, arts and crafts, film, and gardening.
