Dr Sai Achuthan

Dr Sai Achuthan obtained his degree from Manipal University and has since pursued extensive postgraduate studies to enhance his expertise, in psychiatry and healthcare management. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Currently Dr Achuthan is working towards an MSc in Clinical Psychiatry and a MBA to further advance his clinical skills and leadership capabilities. In addition, Dr Achuthan has completed his Fellowship in Addiction Medicine, which has provided him with specialised knowledge to support individuals dealing with substance abuse issues. He is dedicated to providing care and support to patients with varying healthcare needs ensuring their wellbeing and recovery.

As the Medical Director at Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke, Dr Achuthan focuses on treating personality disorders in women. Recognised for his approach and commitment to fostering a work environment, he was honoured with the prestigious 'Consultant of the Year' award at the 2022 Cygnet Psychiatry Awards.
