SW CT1 Welcome Event 2024

The South West Division of the Royal College of Psychiatrists are pleased to invite you to our regional CT1 Welcome Event. This is a 1.5-hour virtual event that will complement the national RCPsych Welcome Event and aims to introduce newly appointed core trainees to the South West Division and advise on how to get the most out of training in the south west.

There will be a range of speakers along with our divisional Psychiatric Trainee Representatives, Dr Simon Corke and Dr Emily Rackley. There will also be time for questions related to training in the south west.

This is a free, UK-focused event that is aimed at new CT1s based in the south west of England.  While core trainees located in neighbouring divisions would be welcome to attend, please be aware that this is a regionally focused event and would not be suitable for consultants or members working abroad.

• Participants will be able view a video of each speaker alongside any slides.
• Participants may also pose questions, where the programme allows, and some speakers may use polling or other interactive features.
