RCPsych in Wales Addictions Conference 2026

We are however, thrilled to announce several of our speakers:

• Professor David Nutt, Professor of Neuropsychopharmacology, Imperial College London, will be delivering a keynote at the conference.
• Professor Julia Lewis, Faculty Chair of Addictions Psychiatry, RCPsych Wales, will talk on Dylan Thomas and his relationship with alcohol.
• Professor Adam Winstock, Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care, University College London, will talk on ADHD and Substance Use.
• Dr Mark Griffiths, Emeritus Professor of Behavioural Addiction, Nottingham Trent University, will talk on gambling.
  

There will also be presentations on:

• Ketamine and Urological symptoms
• Alcohol intake in the older adult populations and cognitive effects
• Updates on Buvidal use in Wales
• and more
