Contributors to the Retention Charter

The development of the RCPsych's Retention Charter was led by Dr Ananta Dave, Presidential Lead for Retention and Wellbeing at the College.

Dr Tom Hewson, Presidential Scholar for Retention and Wellbeing was been instrumental in the writing and formulation of the charter, and thanks go to James Compagnone and Alexis Jaber from the RCPsych Training and Workforce team. 

Many other people have given up significant amounts time and put in tremendous amounts of effort through meetings and a series of workshops and RCPsych is grateful for their contributions, through which we have been able to address many of the barriers to retention within psychiatry. Thanks go to:
